Biography

Eyre is a Chartered Engineer with CIBSE and the Technical Director of Acacia Facilities Management.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from DIT, along with qualifications in Project Management, Environmental Management, Supervisory Management, Health Safety and Welfare at Work, Procurement and International Business. He is also a former lecturer in Facilities Management. He has a strong interest in maintaining buildings of historical importance and leads a team to ensure full statutory compliance across all building services disciplines including Fire Safety, Legionella Control and Environmental Management.

 

Eyre has over 20 years’ experience providing & managing technical support, developing innovative solutions, delivering legislative compliance, reducing life cycle costs, and auditing management practices. He has worked across a variety of sectors for a range of different organisations, from government agencies to blue chip multinationals. He has also been competing in motor racing in Ireland for over 25 years.
