Biography

Eamonn O’Brien is an independent smart buildings consultant.

He has a background in delivery of building systems, electronics engineering, software development and was the Lead Program Manager behind Ireland’s smartest building, for a Fortune 500 company.

An entrepreneur who founded and managed his own Irish utilities solutions business.

Eamonn believes passion is the key to success, in life and in work. He is particularly passionate about the people he partners with. As such, he enjoys building collaborative teams and working with others on exciting, innovative projects.

Eamonn is also a Shotokan Karate practitioner, and believes self defence now also applies to buildings as data sets and their exploitation becomes more important.
