Working at height is still the second greatest cause of workplace fatalities in the Republic of Ireland, and given the varying nature of tasks under the facility managers remit that require access to a height, it is a reminder that we can never become complacent.
In relation to driving for work, employers have a legal duty to manage the risks associated with their employees driving for work, whether the employee is driving a company vehicle or their own vehicle. The good news is, that managing driving for work will not only reduce risk but also has the potential to generate significant cost savings for employers.
